حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِ سَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى و هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ .

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to recite in the Friday prayer: Glorify the name of your most high Lord (Surah 87) and Has the story of the overwhelming event reached you? (Surah 88).
