حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ بَسَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَدِّثُ،‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prayed at the solar eclipse as reported in the tradition narrated by Urwah from Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا from the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم that he offered two rak'ahs of prayer bowing twice in each rak'ah.
