Sahih

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمَعْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَسَحَ بِأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرِهِمَا وَبَاطِنِهِمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏زَادَ هِشَامٌ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَدْخَلَ أَصَابِعَهُ فِي صِمَاخِ أُذُنَيْهِ.

He wiped his ears inside and outside. Hisham adds: He inserted his fingers in the ear-holes
