حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَجَدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ .

We prostrated ourselves along with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on account of: When the sky is rent asunder and Recite in the name of Your Lord Who created (Abu Dawood said: Abu Hurairah accepted Islam in the sixth year of the Hijrah, the year of the battle of Khiabar, So this prostration from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is the later of his actions.)
