حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ يَمُدُّ مَدًّا .

I asked Anas رضی اللہ عنہ about the recitation of the Quran by the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم . He said: He used to express all the long accents clearly.
