حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ أَبُو أَسَدِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُأَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكُنَّا نُصَلِّي الصَّلَوَاتِ بِوُضُوءٍ وَاحِدٍ .

I asked Anas bin Malik رضی اللہ عنہ about ablution. He replied: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم performed ablution for each prayer and we offered (many) prayers with the same ablution.
