حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَمْسٌ قَتْلُهُنَّ حَلَالٌ فِي الْحُرُمِ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ .

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying There are five (creatures) the killing of which is lawful in the sacred territory. The Snake, the Scorpion, the Kite, the Rat and the biting Dog.
