حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ أَخْبَرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ قَدْ أَصَابَهُ فِي رَأْسِهِ أَذًى فَحَلَقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُهْدِيَ هَدْيًا بَقَرَةً .

A man from the Ansar said on the authority of Kab Ibn Ujrah that he was feeling pain in his head (due to lice); so he shaved his head. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ordered him to sacrifice a cow as offering. A man from the Ansar informed him from Kab Ibn Ujrah that he was suffering from some aliment in his scalp of head, so he shaved it, and the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ordered him to sacrifice a cow.
