حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يَطُفْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا أَصْحَابُهُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَ الْمَرْوَةِ إِلَّا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا طَوَافَهُ الْأَوَّلَ .

“Neither the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم nor his Companions ran between Al Safa’ and Al Marwah except once and that was his first running. ”
