حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُلِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ:‏‏‏‏ كَيْفَ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ .

“I asked Umar bin Al Khattab رضی اللہ عنہما How did the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم do when he entered the Kaabah? He said “He offered two rak’ahs of prayer. ”
