حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقَطَّانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي خَارِجَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْجُهَنِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يُخْبَطُ وَلَا يُعْضَدُ حِمَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنْ يُهَشُّ هَشًّا رَفِيقًا .

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: The leaves should not be beaten off and the trees should not be cut in the protected land of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, but the leaves can be beaten off softly.
