حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَزَوَّجْتَ ؟ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بِكْرًا أَمْ ثَيِّبًا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ ثَيِّبًا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَفَلَا بِكْرٌ تُلَاعِبُهَا وَتُلَاعِبُكَ ؟ .

“The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to me “Did you marry?” I said “Yes”. He again said “Virgin or Non Virgin (woman previously married)?” I said “Non Virgin”. He said “Why (did you) not (marry) a virgin with whom you could sport and she could sport with you.
