حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي الزَّرْقَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي،‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏نَحْوَ خَبَرِ سَهْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَكَانَ مَكْحُولٌ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَيْسَ ذَلِكَ لِأَحَدٍ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Makhul has also transmitted a tradition like the one narrated by Sahl (bin Saad al-Saeedi). Makhul used to say: This is not lawful for anyone after the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.
