حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنَامُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ وَهْمٌ يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم would sleep while he was sexually defiled without touching water. Abu Dawud said: Hasan bin Ali al-Wasiti said that the heard Yazid bin Harun say: This tradition is based on a misunderstanding, i. e. the tradition reported by Abu Ishaq.
