حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ. وحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا لَفْظُ حَفْصٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُبَاطَةَ قَوْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَبَالَ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَذَهَبْتُ أَتَبَاعَدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَعَانِي حَتَّى كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَقِبِهِ.

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came to a midden of some people and urinated while standing. He then asked for water and wiped his shoes. Abu Dawud said: Musaddad, a narrator reported: I went far away from him. He then called me and I reached just near his heals.
