حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ وَاصِلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقِيَهُ فَأَهْوَى إِلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي جُنُبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لَا يَنْجُسُ .

The prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم visited him and inclined towards him (for shaking hand). He said: I am sexually defiled. The prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم replied: A muslim is not defiled.
