حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمُهَلَّبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِنِّي صُمْتُ رَمَضَانَ كُلَّهُ وَقُمْتُهُ كُلَّهُ . فَلَا أَدْرِي أَكَرِهَ التَّزْكِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا بُدَّ مِنْ نَوْمَةٍ أَوْ رَقْدَةٍ.

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: One of you should not say: I fasted the whole of Ramadan, and I prayed during the night in the whole of Ramadan. I do not know whether he disliked the purification; or he (the narrator) said: He must have slept a little and taken rest.
