حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ مِنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ حَدِيثًا أَعْجَبَنِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

Amr said: “I heard from Abu Wail a tradition which surprised me, he then narrated the tradition to the same effect (as mentioned before).
