حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نَافِعٍ يَعْنِي الصَّائِغَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُسَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ فَسَأَلْتُ لَهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِمَعْنَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ وَاغْمِزِي قُرُونَكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ حَفْنَةٍ.

A women came to her, this is according to the version of the former tradition. I asked the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم a similar question (as in the former tradition). But this version adds: “And wring out your locks after every handful of water”.
