حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَدِّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرَ حَرَّقُوا مَتَاعَ الْغَالِّ وَضَرَبُوهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ وَزَادَ فِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْهُ وَمَنَعُوهُ سَهْمَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ وحَدَّثَنَا بِهِ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَوْلَهُ:‏‏‏‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ مَنْعَ سَهْمِهِ.

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, Abu Bakr and Umar رضی اللہ عنہما burned the belongings of anyone who had been dishonest about booty and beat him. Abu Dawud said: Ali bin Bahr added on the authority of al-Walid, and I did not hear (a tradition) from him: And they denied him his share. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted by al-Walid bin Utbah from AbdUl-Wahhab bin Najdah; They said: This has been transmitted by al-Walid, from Zuhair bin Muhammad, from Amr bin Shuaib. Abdul-Wahhab bin Najdah al-Huti did not mention the words He denied him his share (as narrated by Ali bin Bahr from al-Walid).
