حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا فَلَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ أَسَرَ أَسِيرًا فَلَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ سَاقَ نَحْوَهُ وَحَدِيثُ خَالِدٍ أَتَمُّ.

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said on the day of Badr: He who kills a man will get such-and-such, and he who captivates a man will get such-and-such. The narrator then transmitted the rest of the tradition in a similar manner. The tradition of Khalid is more perfect.
