حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ جَنُوبٍ بِنْتُ نُمَيْلَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا سُوَيْدَةَ بِنْتِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا عَقِيلَةَ بِنْتِ أَسْمَرَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا أَسْمَرَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَايَعْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَى مَاءٍ لَمْ يَسْبِقْهُ إِلَيْهِ مُسْلِمٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ ، قَالَ: فَخَرَجَ النَّاسُ يَتَعَادَوْنَ يَتَخَاطُّونَ.
