حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ لَمَّا قُتِلَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَعْفَرٌ،‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏جَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يُعْرَفُ فِي وَجْهِهِ الْحُزْنُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَذَكَرَ الْقِصَّةَ.

When Zaid bin Harithah, Jafar and Abdullah bin Rawahah رضی اللہ عنہم were killed, the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sat down in the mosque and grief was visible in his face. Then he (the narrator) mentioned the rest of the tradition.
