حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَانَ إِذَا وَضَعَ الْمَيِّتَ فِي الْقَبْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلَى سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَذَا لَفْظُ مُسْلِمٍ.

When the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم placed the dead in the grave, he said: In the name of Allah, and following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. This is Muslim's version.
