حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ بَعْدَ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَالْمُوَدِّعِ لِلْأَحْيَاءِ وَالْأَمْوَاتِ .

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prayed over the martyrs of Uhud after eight years like a man who bids farewell to the living and dead.
