حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل الطَّالَقَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يُبَاعُ إِلَّا بِالدِّينَارِ أَوْ بِالدِّرْهَمِ إِلَّا الْعَرَايَا .

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade the sale of fruits till they were clearly in good condition, and (ordered that) they should not be sold but for dinar or dirham except Araya.
