حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق،‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُرَقِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ مَاجِدَةَ السَّهْمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِثْلَهُ.

Abu Majidah quoted Umar bin al-Khattab رضی اللہ عنہ as saying: I heard the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say. . . narrating the tradition to the same effect.
