حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي لِلْيَهُودِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ عَلَى مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مَا تَجِدُونَ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ عَلَى مَنْ زَنَى وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي قِصَّةِ الرَّجْمِ .

The holy Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to the Jew: I adjure you by Allah Who sent down the Torah to Moses! do you not find in the Torah (a rule about a man) who commits adultery. He then narrated the rest of the tradition relating to the stoning.
