حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي فِي مَلَاحِفِنَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ حَمَّادٌ:‏‏‏‏ وَسَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي صَدَقَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمْ يُحَدِّثْنِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُهُ مُنْذُ زَمَانٍ وَلَا أَدْرِي مِمَّنْ سَمِعْتُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا أَدْرِي أَسَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ ثَبْتٍ أَوْ لَا فَسَلُوا عَنْهُ.

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم would not in our quilts. Hammad said: I heard Saeed bin Abi Sadaqah رضی اللہ عنہ say: I asked Muhammad (bin Sirin) about it. He did not narrate it to me, but said: I heard it a long time ago and I do not know whom I heard it. I do not know whether I heard it from a trustworthy person or not. Make an inquiry about it.
