حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَاءٍ يُوكَأُ أَعْلَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَهُ عَزْلَاءُ يُنْبَذُ غُدْوَةً فَيَشْرَبُهُ عِشَاءً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُنْبَذُ عِشَاءً فَيَشْرَبُهُ غُدْوَةً .

Dates were steeped for the Apostle of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم in skin which was tied up at the top and had a mouth. What was steeped in the morning he would drink in the evening and what was steeped in the evening he would drink in the morning.
