حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ مَلَكَ ذَا رَحِمٍ مَحْرَمٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ .

If anyone gets possession of a relative who is within the prohibited degrees, that person becomes free.
