حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ غُلَامًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَمَرَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَبِيعَ بِسَبْعِ مِائَةِ أَوْ بِتِسْعِ مِائَةِ .

A man declared that his slave would be free after his death, but he had no other property. So the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ordered (to sell him). He was then sold for seven hundred or nine hundred (dirhams).
