حَدَّثَنَا محُمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِى إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِى حَبِيبَةَ الطَّائِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِى الدَّردْاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَعْتِقُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يُهْدِي إِذَا شبعَ .

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: the similitude of a man who emancipates a slave at the time of his death is like that of a man who gives a present after satisfying his appetite.
