حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّ مَوْلًى لِابْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ رَجُلَ صِدْقٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَاءَهُمْ فِي صُفَّةِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ فَسَأَلَهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَيُّ آيَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ أَعْظَمُ ؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ .
