حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمِيثَرَةِ الْحَمْرَاءِ .

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade me to wear a gold ring, or a Qassi garment or the use purple saddle-cloths.
