حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ صَنَعْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُرْدَةً سَوْدَاءَ فَلَبِسَهَا فَلَمَّا عَرَقَ فِيهَا وَجَدَ رِيحَ الصُّوفِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَذَفَهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْسِبُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَكَانَ تُعْجِبُهُ الرِّيحُ الطَّيِّبَةُ .

I made a black cloak for the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and he put it on; but when he sweated in it and noticed the odour of the wool, he threw it away. The narrator said: I think he said: He liked good smell.
