حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رُكَانَةَ صَارَعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَصَرَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَرُكَانَةُ:‏‏‏‏ وَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ فَرْقُ مَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ الْعَمَائِمُ عَلَى الْقَلَانِسِ .

Rukanah رضی اللہ عنہ wrestled with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم threw him on the ground. Rukanah رضی اللہ عنہ said: I heard the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: The difference between us and the polytheists is that we wear turbans over caps.
