حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْ هَزَّالًا أَمَرَ مَاعِزًا أَنْ يَأْتِيَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيُخْبِرَهُ.

Huzzal رضی اللہ عنہ had ordered Ma’iz رضی اللہ عنہ to go to the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and tell him (about his having committed adultery).
