حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ شَيْخًا يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَمَ امْرَأَةً فَحُفِرَ لَهَا إِلَى الثَّنْدُوَةِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ أَفْهَمَنِي رَجُلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ الْغَسَّانِيُّ:‏‏‏‏ جُهَيْنَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَغَامِدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبَارِقٌ وَاحِدٌ.

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had a woman stoned and a pit was dug up to her breasts. Abu Dawud said: A man made me understand it from Uthman (b. Abi Shaibah) Abu Dawud said: Al-Ghassani said: Juhainah, Ghamid and Bariq as the same.
