حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يُقَادُ الْحُرُّ بِالْعَبْدِ .

A free man should not be subjected to retaliation in return for a slave.
