حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَوَالِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ خَيْرُ الْمَجَالِسِ أَوْسَعُهَا ،‏‏‏‏ قال أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ.

I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: The best places to sit are those which provide most room. Abu Dawud said: The name of Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Amr is Abdur-Rahman bin Amr bin Abi 'Umrat al-Ansari.
