حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَوْدُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏نَحْوَهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ قِصَّةَ الْفَالِجِ.

A similar tradition has been transmitted by Aban bin Uthman رضی اللہ عنہ , from Uthman رضی اللہ عنہ , from the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. This version does not mention the story of paralysis.
