حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ يَعْنِى الْعَقَدِيَّ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُؤَذِّنِ مَسْجِدِ الْعُرْيَانِ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمُثَنَّى مُؤَذِّنَ مَسْجِدِ الْأَكْبَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُول:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ.

(There is another chain) from Shu'abh, from Abu Jafar the Muadh-dhin of Masjid Al-'Uryan, he said: "I heard Abu Al-Muthanna the Muadhdhin of masjid al-akbar saying I heard Ibn 'Umar..." And he quoted the Hadith.
