حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ الْأَقْرَعَ بْنَ حَابِسٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَبْصَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُقَبِّلُ حُسَيْنًا،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ لِي عَشَرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ،‏‏‏‏ مَا فَعَلْتُ هَذَا بِوَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ .

Al-Aqra bin Habib رضی اللہ عنہ saw that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was kissing Husain. He said: I have ten children and I have never kissed any of them. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: He who does not show tenderness will not be shown tenderness.
