حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَالِمٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَوَّلَ مَا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِذَا عَائِشَةُ ابْنَتُهُ مُضْطَجِعَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ قَدْ أَصَابَتْهَا حُمَّى،‏‏‏‏ فَأَتَاهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ لَهَا كَيْفَ أَنْتِ يَا بُنَيَّةُ ؟ وَقَبَّلَ خَدَّهَا .

I went in with Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ when he had newly come to Madina and he found his daughter Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا lying down afflicted with fever. Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ went to her, and saying: How are you, girlie? kissed her on the cheek.
