حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَتَادَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ لَهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَعَطِشُوا،‏‏‏‏ فَانْطَلَقَ سَرْعَانُ النَّاسِ،‏‏‏‏ فَلَزِمْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَفِظَكَ اللَّهُ بِمَا حَفِظْتَ بِهِ نَبِيَّهُ .

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was on journey. The people became thirsty, and they went quickly. I guarded the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on that night. He said: May Allah guard you for the reason you have guarded His Prophet!
