حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَنْجُسُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَقَفَهُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ.

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When there is enough water to fill two pitchers, it does not become impure. Abu Dawud said: Hammad bin Zaid has narrated this tradition on the authority of Asim ( without any reference to the Prophet)
