حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ دَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَامِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ ؟ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنَّا أَحَدٌ .

I asked Abdullah bin Masud: Which of you was in the company of the Messenger of Allaah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on the night when the jinn attended him? He replied: None of us was with him
