حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُرَاهُ رَفَعَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا غِرَارَ فِي تَسْلِيمٍ وَلَا صَلَاةٍ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَلَى لَفْظِ ابْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ.

The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: There is no loss in salutation and in prayer. Abu Dawud said: According to the version of Ibn Mahdi, this tradition has been narrated by Ibn Fudail as a statement of Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ and not as a saying of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم
