حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ بُدَيْلَ بْنَ مَيْسَرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَيُّوبَ يُحَدِّثَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَائِمًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَاعِدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا صَلَّى قَائِمًا رَكَعَ قَائِمًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِذَا صَلَّى قَاعِدًا رَكَعَ قَاعِدًا .

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to pray standing at night for a long time, and used to pray sitting at night for a long time. When he prayed standing, he bowed standing, and when he prayed sitting, he bowed sitting.
